Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum of two years of infection prevention and control experience
• Current NYS RN Licensure required

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination and implementation of the Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Monitor cases of communicable diseases and health care-associated infections.
• Collect, analyze, and report on surveillance data.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Identify and investigate potential outbreaks.
• Implement appropriate prevention and control measures.
• Provide consultation services to various departments.
• Partner closely with staff nurses, nursing leaders, and physicians.
• Regularly evaluate the program and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
