Job summary

Excelcare at the Pines in Atlantic City, NJ seeks an experienced RN Infection Preventionist to lead our infection control program in a skilled nursing facility. You will monitor infections, investigate cases, and implement evidence-based practices in collaboration with clinical leadership.

The role requires an active NJ RN license and IP certification or willingness to obtain. You will educate staff, participate in care conferences, and drive regulatory compliance and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Experience in infection prevention and long-term care.
• IP Certification preferred or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention program and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct audits and monitor medication safety via EMAR reviews.
• Provide staff training and participate in quality improvement.
