Job summary

Excelcare at the Pines in Atlantic City, NJ, is seeking a dedicated RN Infection Preventionist to lead our infection control program within a skilled nursing facility. You will monitor infections, conduct audits, educate staff, and collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality resident care.

Qualifications include NJ RN license, IP certification or willingness to obtain, and at least 3 years of management experience in long-term care.

• General nursing knowledge and personal care service expertise.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility compliance with policies, procedures, and state regulations.
• Conduct audits and review EMAR reports for medication compliance.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor wound care practices.
• Provide training and clinical support to staff.
• Participate in care conferences and quality improvement.
• Review incident reports to ensure proper documentation and reporting.
