The role chairs Infection Prevention Committee(s), coordinates surveillance of healthcare‑associated infections, and develops policies to meet regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of well‑rounded clinical experience with infection prevention concepts.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups at all levels.
• Familiarity with infection prevention standards and surveillance methods.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements the infection prevention program for MyMichigan Health.
• Chairs the Infection Prevention Committee(s) and oversees ongoing evaluation of goals and risk assessments.
• Coordinates surveillance of healthcare‑associated infections and analyzes data for recommendations.
• Maintains knowledge of national and state guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
