Job summary

The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place is seeking an Infection Prevention RN to lead and coordinate the facility’s infection prevention and control program. You will conduct surveillance, train staff, and collaborate with leadership to prevent outbreaks. A nursing license is required and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with CIC/APIC credentials a plus.

The position is onsite in Williamsburg. Benefits include medical/dental/vision after 30 days, tuition assistance, PTO, and a daily pay option.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CIC/APIC credentials are a plus.
• Current nursing license in state or compact state where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing surveillance of infections in the hospital and staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement infection prevention policies.
• Provide in-services and training on infection prevention, OSHA, and isolation techniques.
• Administer and monitor TB testing and vaccinations per policy.
• Report infectious diseases to local and state health authorities.
