Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living's Edgehill community in Stamford, CT seeks an Infection Preventionist to lead the facility's infection prevention and control program with full administrative support. The role requires RN licensure, specialty training in infection prevention, and Infection Prevention Certification.

You will oversee surveillance, education, vaccines, and regulatory reporting, collaborating with the IPCC and quality committees.

• RN licensure in good standing.
• Specialty training in Infection Prevention and Control.
• Infection Prevention Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and oversee the Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Establish and maintain infection surveillance program.
• Oversee surveillance of health care-associated infections and outbreaks.
• Educate staff on infection prevention and OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate vaccines/immunization programs.
• Report data to IPCC, NHSN and other external bodies.
