Job summary
Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking an Infection Preventionist to lead the nursing center's Infection Prevention and Control Program across multiple locations, focusing on surveillance, outbreak management, and employee health. Position requires flexible hours to accommodate evening and night shifts; posted salary range is USD 100,000.00 - 120,000.00 per year.
Qualifications
- RN licensed by the State Board of Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum three years full-time nursing experience required.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet evening/night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Support IPCP education for new hires.
- Create and implement education programs in response to infection control needs identified through QAPI, rounding, or quality measures.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain IPCP to ensure infection control in the nursing center.
