Job summary

Boulevard Rehab in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking an RN Infection Prevention Control Officer to lead the infection prevention program across the facility. You will identify, investigate, and prevent infections, and educate staff on CDC updates and world-class standards.

Required ASN and RN licensure, along with 1+ years in nursing. IPCO Certification should be completed within 5 days of employment. Join a team dedicated to care quality and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• ASN required.
• RN licensure in state of practice.
• Minimum 1+ years nursing experience (LTAC/sub-acute preferred).
• Experience in Infection Prevention and Control.
• IPCO Certification to be completed within 5 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Infection Prevention and Control Program in a long-term care and short-term rehab/sub-acute care facility.
• Identify, investigate, report, prevent, and control spread of infections among residents, staff, and guests; manage COVID/Flu testing schedules as needed.
• Educate staff on CDC updates and proper use of PPD; serve as knowledge specialist on CDC, Joint Commission, and occupational health standards.
