Job summary

Baptist Health in Boca Raton is seeking an infection prevention professional (RN) to assist with planning and implementing the Infection Control Program. You will conduct surveillance, review policies, and help with surge and outbreak investigations under IPC guidance.

Requirements include RN licensure, 2 years in infection prevention or clinical nursing, CIC or CAIP within 2 years, BSN within 3 years, and readiness for ongoing education. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of infection prevention or clinical nursing experience required.
• RN with BSN substitute: 5 years clinical nursing with another bachelor's degree or RN with ADN substitute for BSN.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or CAIP within 2 years of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing the Infection Control Program.
• Conduct surveillance and review infection control policies and procedures.
• Assist with risk assessments, outbreak investigations, and reporting to public health authorities.
• Provide infection prevention education to staff, medical staff, students, employees and volunteers.
• Support emergency management planning with IPC guidance.
• Participate in routine rounds, inspections and regulatory surveys.
