Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
• Must complete specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide infection prevention and control training for newly hired employees.
• Develop and implement education programs responding to infection control needs identified through QAPI, rounding, and quality measures.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain IPCP to ensure quality of patient care related to infections and communicable diseases.
