Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in the state.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, terminology, laws and guidelines for long-term care.
• Infection control experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, direct and monitor the facility's infection prevention program.
• Conduct rounds of nursing units and review sanitation procedures.
• Analyze infectious disease lab reports and coordinate with DON.
• Prepare summaries of infections and corrective actions; communicate with staff and families.
