Qualifications

• Must hold GA RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license or nursing degree with license, as applicable.
• Bachelor's in Medical Technology and a Master's in Microbiology/epidemiology or related science required.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred; Lean Six Sigma or QPI certifications are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and quality improvement initiatives to reduce infections.
• Provide ongoing IP education and address trends identified by IP Surveillance and Analysis.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation bodies during performance projects.
