Ciena Healthcare is seeking an Infection Prevention Nurse to design systems and drive actions to prevent infections among residents and staff, leveraging surveillance data to assess infection potential within the facility.

The role focuses on monitoring infections, developing and updating prevention policies, and guiding outbreak responses while educating the care team. Michigan RN licensure and CPR are required.

Competenze

• RN license in Michigan required.
• Current CPR certification required.

Mansioni

• Monitor healthcare-associated infections.
• Assess infection prevention problems and make recommendations for corrective action.
• Initiate, review, and revise infection prevention policies and procedures.
• Conduct outbreak investigation and initiates control measures. And report communicable diseases to the state as required by law.
• Provides educational offerings for orientation and ongoing inservices.
• Consults with department heads and physicians as needed to improve care.
• Initiate follow-up on employee/resident exposures to communicable diseases.
