Job summary

Casper Mountain Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking an experienced Infection Prevention Nurse (RN) to lead the facility's infection prevention program. You will collaborate across departments, oversee surveillance, and ensure CMS/CDC/OSHA compliance to protect residents and staff.

Responsibilities include program development, outbreak investigations, and staff training on infection prevention practices. Wyoming RN license and BLS are required; CIC is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing in Wyoming.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Infection prevention certification (CIC) preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop, oversee, and ensure Infection Prevention and Control Program compliance.
• Lead infection prevention rounds and staff education on PPE and precautions.
• Monitor infectious disease surveillance and coordinate regulatory reporting.
