Job summary

Grand River Health in Rifle, CO is seeking an Employee Health/Infection Control Nurse to join the Infection Prevention Team. This full-time on-site role supports employee health, surveillance, and regulatory compliance across GRHD.

The RN must be licensed in Colorado and hold BLS; ACLS/PALS within 6 months. Prior clinical nursing experience is preferred. Comprehensive benefits and a clear pay range are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved nursing program is required.
• Current Colorado DORA RN license in good standing is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are required within 6 months and maintained.
• One year of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support hospital-wide employee health and infection prevention programs.
• Conduct pre-employment and annual health screenings including TB, vision, and N95 fit-testing.
• Administer and document immunizations (Influenza, COVID-19, Hepatitis B).
• Screen ill employees and perform point-of-care testing for common infections.
• Assist with infection surveillance, data collection, and regulatory reporting.
