Job summary

Qualifications

• Current LVN license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in infection prevention and control in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of current infection prevention and control guidelines and regulations.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain infection prevention and control programs in accordance with current guidelines and regulations.
• Conduct ongoing surveillance of infections and outbreaks and implement appropriate interventions to prevent the spread of infection.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to infection prevention and control.
• Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control measures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement infection control strategies.
• Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives related to infection prevention and control.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of infection prevention and control activities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices related to infection prevention and control.
