FOREST GROVE POST ACUTE in Forest Grove, OR is seeking an Infection Control Nurse to plan, develop, coordinate, and direct our infection control program across the facility, in line with current federal, state, and local standards.

You will monitor practices, prepare monthly infection summaries, advise leadership, and collaborate with Nursing Services to prevent and contain infections. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a path to impact patient safety nationwide.

Formación

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, coordinate, and direct our infection control program according to current rules and guidelines.
• Ensure facility follows CDC/OSHA regulations and local requirements.
• Develop and update infection control precautions and aseptic techniques.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to Administration and Nursing Services.
• Assist departments in evaluating and classifying tasks involving exposure to blood/body fluids.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, coordinate, and direct the infection control program.
• Monitor adherence to standard/universal precautions and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare monthly summaries of infections and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to nursing and support staff on infection control practices.
• Assist in developing decontamination and sterilization guidelines.
