Job summary

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) seeks an Infection Prevention Officer for IHSC to oversee infection prevention and outbreak investigations at detention facilities nationwide. You will train staff, report findings, and liaise with public health agencies.

This role requires clinical credentials and a strong background in infection control and public health. The incumbent will serve as SME, coordinate TB case management, and lead reporting to leadership and health authorities.

Qualifications

• Must possess/licensed clinical professional in nursing, medicine, or pharmacy.
• Strong infection prevention and public health experience required.
• Ability to manage TB casework and outbreak investigations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Infection Prevention Officer and SME for infection prevention, TB case management, and outbreak investigations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor tasks related to TB case management and laboratory results.
• Coordinate reporting to local and HQ leadership and public health authorities.
