Job summary

UVM Health Network- Porter Medical Center seeks an RN to develop the education plan and facilitate staff education within the facility. The role also serves as the Infection Preventionist, overseeing and advancing the facility's infection prevention plan and initiatives.

The position requires nursing licensure in Vermont, and completion of Infection Preventionist certification (or to complete on hire). Two years nursing experience in skilled care or health care is preferred, with prior education

Qualifications

• Effective communicator and team player.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience in skilled nursing or health care.
• Previous experience as an educator and/or infection control nurse.
• Previous management experience preferred with a demonstrated record of success.
