Job summary

Mountain View Post Acute is seeking an organized LPN/RN to lead infection prevention and staff development. You will coordinate the program, monitor compliance with CDC/OSHA standards, and report infections to leadership while ensuring high safety and care quality in a long-term care setting.

The role also involves educating staff on infection control topics, conducting training, and supporting regulatory readiness with documentation and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in Washington State.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and aseptic techniques.
• Current CPR certification and strong teaching skills.
• APIC certification in infection control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate infection prevention and control program.
• Monitor compliance with CDC/OSHA/state requirements.
• Conduct rounds on hand hygiene, sterile technique, isolation.
• Track and report infections and communicable diseases.
• Collaborate with leadership on trends and actions.
• Support TB management, bloodborne pathogen prevention, exposure follow-up.
• Assist with cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and safety.
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections.
