Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a clinical setting.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role.
• Minimum 5 years in infection control with certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and manage the infection control program.
• Deliver education on infection control for staff and compliance.
• Act as liaison with regulatory agencies on infection prevention.
• Perform surveillance and report healthcare-associated infection rates.
• Promote consistent infection prevention policies and procedures.
• Support emergency management and bioterrorism planning.
