Job summary

Q-Centrix seeks an Infection Prevention Senior Clinical Data Abstraction Specialist to deliver high-quality data solutions for hospital partners across the United States. You will apply clinical expertise to classify, code, summarize, and interpret registry and case information from complex medical records.

You will ensure accurate data submissions, meet tight deadlines, work with EMR systems, and contribute to best practices and data dictionaries.

Qualifications

• 1 year of direct clinical surveillance experience within the last year.
• Experience with EMRs and clinical databases.
• Active CIC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and code registry/case information from medical records.
• Ensure high-accuracy data submissions to registries.
• Meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks and requests.
• Troubleshoot EMR and registry-entry tools with minimal disruption.
• Contribute to data dictionaries and guidelines; drive improvements.
• Stay updated on regulatory/public reporting data requirements.
