Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Massachusetts is hiring a full-time Infection Control/Wound Nurse. The role accepts LPN or RN with pay ranging from $40 to $45 for LPN and $45 to $50 for RN, plus weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current, unencumbered nursing license and CPR certification.
• Two years of clinical experience in long-term care.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, infections, and aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, executes, and oversees the Infection Control and Prevention Program.
• Reports infection-related issues to the Infection Control Committee.
• Maintains documentation for Infection Control & Prevention and Skin Integrity.
• Evaluates infection-related practices via monthly surveillance rounds.
• Educates staff in Infection Control Practices, Policies, and Procedures.
• Coordinates and reports the Annual OSHA Sharps survey.
