Job summary

Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a full-time Infection Control/Wound Nurse (LPN or RN) to lead our infection control program and oversee wound care. Hourly rates range from $40–$50 depending on licensure, with weekly pay.

The role includes program development, staff education, and monthly surveillance reporting in a 135-bed skilled nursing setting. Requires nursing degree, current license, CPR certification, and at least two years in long-term care, plus knowledge of

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice nursing in this state and CPR-certified.
• Must have two (2) years of clinical experience in a long-term care facility.
• Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Must possess a working knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, infectious diseases, and aseptic techniques including standard precautions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, executes, and oversees the comprehensive Infection Control and Prevention Program.
• Communicates and informs the Infection Control and Prevention Committee of any infection-related issues.
• Maintains accurate and comprehensive documentation related to the Infection Control & Prevention Program.
• Maintains accurate and comprehensive documentation related to the facility Skin Integrity Program.
• Evaluates the status of infection-related practices in the facility via monthly surveillance rounds.
• Maintains updated community awareness of potentially threatening infections.
• Assists the Staff Development Director in the education of employees in Infection Control Practices, Policies, and Procedures.
• Coordinates and reports on the Annual OSHA Sharps survey.

Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring a full-time Infection Control/Wound Nurse!

We are a 135-bed award-winning skilled nursing facility. Candidate can be an LPN or RN. $40 to $45 if an LPN, $45 to $50 if an RN. Weekly pay!

You plan, organize, develop, coordinate, direct, and evaluate our infection control program and its components to ensure that an effective program is maintained, as well as oversee the wound programming.

Education & Experience
