Qualifications

• Experience as Staff Development or Infection Control Nurse in long-term or acute care preferred.
• Strong knowledge of infection control principles and regulatory requirements.

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced setting.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided to patients, identifying areas for improvement.

• Conduct infection control surveillance, report outbreaks, and plan contingencies.
• Collaborate with other departments to educate staff on infection control practices.
