Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Infection Control Specialist Registered Nurse (RN) in French Camp, CA. You will coordinate, develop, implement, and monitor infection control and employee health programs for patients, staff, and visitors.

The role requires an active RN license, 3–5 years of infection control or employee health experience, and preferred certification. You will support regulatory compliance and provide guidance to clinical teams while working in a travel capacity.

Qualifications

• Current licensures as a Registered Nurse (state of assignment)
• Three to five years’ experience in employee health or infection control preferred
• Infection Control Certification preferred
• Knowledge of state, federal and JC regulations
• Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The RN – Infection Control Specialist is responsible for thecoordination, development, implementation, and monitoring of an infectioncontrol program and/or employee health program.The RN – Infection Control Specialist is responsible for coordinating programsdesigned to detect, evaluate and minimize risks of acquired infections topatients, employees and visitors. The RN– Infection Control Specialist supports and acts as a resource toadministration, medical staff, and all hospital or clinic services.

• Current licensures as a Registered Nurse in the state ofassignment required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
