Job summary

NIKA is seeking an Infection Control Specialist/Protectionist to support the VA Healthcare Environmental and Facilities Program (HEFP). This role is contingent upon contract award and will support multiple VA locations. We require a healthcare background with infection prevention expertise, policy development abilities, and active Infection control certification.

The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain security clearance.

Job Description

• Experience in healthcare setting with infection prevention and control which includes policy development, identification of infectious disease processes; surveillance and investigation; and preventing and controlling the transmission of infectious agents.

Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 3 years of experience
• Active certification in Infection control (Required)
• MUST be US citizen and have ability to obtain security clearance
