Job summary

Ochsner LSU Health System seeks a dedicated Infection Prevention leader to coordinate system-wide infection control initiatives in Shreveport, LA. The role focuses on surveillance, policy maintenance, staff education, and reporting to drive regulatory compliance.

You will manage infection data, identify exposures, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and leaders to reduce risks and protect patients and staff across all locations.

Qualifications

• Education Required - Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field
• Preferred - Master’s degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field
• Work Experience Required - 2 years experience in a clinical setting including one year Infection control experience
• Certifications Preferred - Certified Infection Control certification

Responsibilities

• Supports Infection Control program and policies.
• Manages data, analysis and dissemination of Infection Control information.
• Implements Infection Control education & training.
• Maintains records and prepares reports.
• Other related duties as required.
