Job summary

Countryside Mental Health in Topeka, KS is seeking an Infection Control Nurse to lead infection prevention across our facilities. You will develop and implement policies, conduct surveillance of hospital-acquired infections, and investigate breaches to protect patients and staff.

The role requires RN licensure in Kansas, experience in infection control, and strong communication skills to educate staff and collaborate with clinicians.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Kansas licensure and current credentials.
• Experience in infection control and/or nursing leadership.
• Strong knowledge of infection control principles and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infection control policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct regular infection control audits and inspections.
• Identify and report potential infection control risks and incidents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement infection control plans.
