located in Pineville, Louisiana is seeking applicants for a vacant position in our Quality Management Department as a Registered Nurse-Program Coordinator (Infection Control Nurse) who coordinates facility wide programs which will include, but not limited to: Infection Control, Discharge Planning, Quality Assurance, DRG Coordinator, Utilization Review, and Support Service Review.
The Registered Nurse-Program Coordinator (Infection Control Nurse) plays a vital role for the Louisiana Department of Health in the Behavioral Health community by utilizing CLSH’s values and mission to deliver quality and effective care to our patients. The hospital is highly committed to cooperative work with other state agencies and with the state and regional mental health program to insure the integration and coordination of hospital-community services into a comprehensive system of mental health care.
This professional position is located in the Quality Management Department and is responsible for the oversight of the Infection Prevention and Control Program at CLSH. The incumbent must exhibit tolerance, courtesy, patience, and professionalism and adhere to confidentiality when speaking and interacting with patients, visitors, vendors, contract staff, CLSH/LDH staff, and any external partners at all times. The incumbent must utilize their work time effectively to ensure that essential tasks are completed and deadlines are met as required.
Possession of a current Louisiana Registered Nurse license or a temporary permit or multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state to practice as a registered nurse plus one of the following:

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm
Compensation: Registered Nurse-Program Coordinator has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of $3,129.60 bi-weekly.
