Job summary

Linden Woods Village in Gladstone, MO seeks a dedicated QA/Infection Control Nurse to prevent and control infections across residents and staff. The role supports the facility’s QAPI efforts and requires specialized infection prevention training beyond the core nursing degree.

You will lead infection control initiatives, train staff, and collaborate with leadership to maintain safety standards in a continuing care retirement community.

Qualifications

• RN with specialized infection prevention training.
• Experience supporting a QAPI committee or equivalent.
• Ability to coordinate infection prevention programs and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the infection prevention and control program for the facility.
• Review policies and procedures and recommend revisions to clinical leadership.
• Provide training on infection control and monitor compliance through audits and checklists.
• Analyze infection data, identify risk factors, and conduct targeted studies as needed.
• Lead or participate in multidisciplinary QAPI activities and improve antibiotic stewardship.
