Job summary

WellBridge of Clarkston is seeking an Infection Control Nurse to identify, control, and prevent outbreaks while aligning treatment plans with state regulations and resident needs. You will lead infection control initiatives and support clinical teams to deliver safe, compassionate care.

The role requires a Michigan RN license, current CPR, and 2–3 years of RN experience in long-term or acute care settings. This is a full-time, on-site management position with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• LICENSE: MI RN license and CPR certification.
• 2–3 years RN experience in an acute or extended care facility.
• Critical thinking and sound decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of long-term care laws, regulations, and practices.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise infection control policies and procedures.
• Investigate suspected outbreaks of infection.
• Provide consultation on infection risk assessment, prevention, and control strategies.
• Follow federal and state regulations and best practices in extended care facilities.
