Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in infection control within a nursing facility.
• RN licensed in California with current CPR certification.
• APIC infection control certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement and direct infection control program per CDC/OSHA guidelines.
• Monitor compliance with standard precautions and aseptic technique.
• Prepare monthly infection summaries and reports for Administration.
• Represent Infection Control Committee and participate in policy updates.
• Coordinate TB management and incident investigations as needed.
