Job summary

Pipestone County Medical Center and Family Clinic is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Infection Control and Employee Health professionals. You will implement and oversee the infection control program, provide health protection, screening and counseling to employees, and support pre‑employment and annual employee health activities.

The position requires MN RN licensure, BLS, and CMS infection control standards. The pay range is $37.81–$60.49 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• 3 years of nursing experience with preference to prior experience in infection control and/or employee health.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
• BLS certified or must be obtained within 1 week of hire.
• Must meet CMS standards for Infection Control.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee the infection control program in line with federal, state and organizational guidelines.
• Provide health protection, screening and counseling to employees of the facility.
• Support pre-employment and annual employee health activities.
• Establish and maintain policies and protocols for infection control and employee health.
• Coordinate all areas of safety and ensure compliance with MNOSHA and CMS standards.
• Assist with quality management activities including risk management, quality assurance, safety and related areas.
