The role emphasizes educating staff, conducting audits, collaborating with the Infection Prevention and Control Committee, and leading training programs to strengthen competencies and enhance patient safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a LPN/RN nurse.
• Strong understanding of infection control principles and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for staff education.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Analytical problem solving to identify gaps and drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement infection control practices across departments.
• Provide educational training and resources on infection control and hand hygiene.
• Conduct audits and assessments and develop corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with the IPC Committee to implement evidence-based policies.
• Identify gaps in staff knowledge and develop targeted training programs.
• Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
