Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Full-time Infection Control Coordinator RN to join our team at Eastern Correctional Institution located in Westover, Maryland. The role develops and updates policies in line with current practice standards and coordinates with healthcare leaders to prevent disease spread.

The position requires Maryland RN licensure, at least two years in public health or acute care infection control, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance; corrections

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in Maryland.
• Minimum two years in public health or acute care with infection control focus.
• APIC CIC certification preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification current and active.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Infection Control Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Eastern Correctional Institution located in Westover, Maryland.

The Infection Control Coordinator - RN develops and updates policies and procedures related to infection control with current standards of practice. This person collaborates with healthcare leaders, ensures compliance with isolation techniques and local, state and custodial leadership in the event of an outbreak to control and contain the disease spread.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in Maryland
• Minimum of two years of experience working in a public health or acute care setting with a focus on Infection Control
• APIC Certification (CIC - Certification in Infection Control) preferred
• Experience working in corrections preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
