Working across infection prevention, quality management, and patient safety, the Infection Control and Quality Coordinator will support hospital-wide surveillance, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and performance improvement.

  • Key responsibilities will include monitoring healthcare-associated infection trends, reviewing clinical data, conducting audits and risk assessments, coordinating infection control education, supporting exposure investigations, evaluating policy adherence, and helping departments implement corrective action plans consistent with CDC, CMS, OSHA, and evidence-based standards.

The Infection Control and Quality Coordinator will report to an experienced quality, nursing, or administrative leader and receive strong support from hospital leadership and interdisciplinary partners. Collaborating with friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team—including physicians, pharmacists, laboratory specialists, environmental services professionals, educators, case managers, and department leaders—the coordinator will translate data into practical strategies, promote staff engagement, prepare reports, facilitate committees, and cultivate a proactive culture of safety, accountability, and infection prevention.
