DC Army National Guard is seeking Infantry Soldiers to fill a critical ground role. You will engage, hold, and advance ground positions using advanced tactics and weapons, with training and leadership development through the Guard.

Training includes 14 weeks of Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT). You will earn a regular paycheck during drill weekends, with benefits such as tuition assistance and retirement plans offered to eligible personnel.

Responsabilités

• Assist in reconnaissance operations
• Employ, fire, and recover anti-personnel and anti-tank mines
• Operate weapon systems under various conditions, including engaging targets using night vision sights
• Operate and maintain communications equipment
• Perform as a member of a fire team during training and combat missions
• Process prisoners of war and captured documents
• Aid in the mobilization of vehicles, troops, and weaponry
• Use, maintain, and store combat weapons (e.g., rifles, machine guns, anti-tank mines, etc.)

High school diploma or GED

Must be a junior in high school
