Job summary
Children's Therapy Center in Washington state is seeking a compassionate TVI to join the ESIT team serving birth to three. You will collaborate with families, ESIT providers, and school partners to deliver individualized vision services and IFSP plans.
The role requires a TVI endorsement, a WA teaching certificate, and at least five years of experience with infants/toddlers and visual impairments. Onsite, full-time with travel across South King County.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Education with TVI endorsement.
- Valid Washington State teaching certificate.
- Minimum five years as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired.
- Experience serving infants/toddlers with visual impairments and families.
Responsibilities
- Participate on ESIT teams to assess vision needs and IFSPs.
- Provide direct vision services to infants/toddlers per ESIT/Part C.
- Conduct functional vision assessments and guidance.
- Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies with families.
- Support transition planning to preschool and school-age.
