Job summary

CAP Tulsa is seeking a Teaching Assistant II for Infant/Toddler (9:30am-5:30pm) in Tulsa. You will assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering a stimulating learning environment for infants and toddlers, and assume lead duties in the Lead Teacher's absence.

Responsibilities include supporting daily classroom operations, documentation, and family communication while adhering to Head Start standards and program guidelines. Bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field as required for 4-year-old classroom.
• Pre-School CDA or Mastery certification within 1 year if applicable.
• Experience with infants, toddlers, or pre-school children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in planning and providing a stimulating learning environment for infants, toddlers, or pre-school children.
• Assume Lead Teacher responsibilities in the absence of the Lead Teacher.
• Support classroom operations and documentation such as attendance and family contacts.
• Work with CAP staff to maintain parent involvement and classroom management.
• Participate in Home visits and parent conferences when required.
• Follow Head Start Performance Standards and local regulatory requirements.

Education

Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Degree

Associate's Degree in any subject with Pre-School CDA or Mastery Certificate

Para Qualified with Pre-School CDA or Mastery Certificate

Associate's Degree in any subject + 12+ ECE credits + 480 hours experience

Infant/Toddler CDA or Certificate of Mastery
