Job summary

Centro de la Familia seeks an Infant Toddler Teacher to nurture and educate our youngest learners in a supportive setting. You will create engaging activities and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum to foster holistic growth.

You will collaborate with mentors and teachers, maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, and support families through regular communication and home visits. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Food Handler’s permit required within one month of hire.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Ability to work with children with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Create a captivating classroom environment for toddlers using best early childhood practices.
• Plan and execute daily activities to support physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language development.
• Tailor activities to meet the needs of children with special requirements.
• Foster a warm, respectful atmosphere and encourage growth and independence.
• Build relationships with families through home visits and parent-teacher conferences.
• Adhere to supervision, safety, and health policies and procedures.
• Supervise and engage with children to ensure safety and well-being.
• Support development through developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Promote positive interactions and a nurturing classroom culture.
• Advocate for children's emotional, physical, and educational needs.
