Job summary

AppliedKids, a part of Applied Medical, seeks an Infant-Toddler Teacher to foster a safe, engaging learning environment for children 3 months to 36 months. You will plan developmentally appropriate activities, support physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth, and collaborate with a team to refine curriculum and routines.

Responsibilities include supervising infants, communicating with families, and upholding licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 core semester units in Early Childhood Education plus 3 units in Infant/Toddler studies.
• Knowledge of California Infant/Toddler Learning & Development Foundations, Curriculum Framework, and Title 22 regulations preferred.
• Experience in licensed childcare with infants/toddlers/preschoolers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise infants and toddlers while ensuring licensing and safety standards.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities supporting development.
• Collaborate to design, evaluate and enhance curriculum and routines.
• Build relationships with families through regular communication and updates.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom celebrating diversity.
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings.
