Job summary

YMCA of Greater Boston is hiring an Infant/Toddler Teacher for the Waltham YMCA. This full-time on-site role focuses on safe, developmentally appropriate care and education for infants and toddlers within our Child Development Programs.

Responsibilities include curriculum planning, differentiated instruction, and regular child assessments. Candidates must hold EEC certification and pursue required trainings (First Aid/CPR) within the stated timelines.

Qualifications

• Must have EEC certification.
• Must be at least 21 years old and meet EEC requirements.
• Expected to obtain First Aid/CPR within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and emotional well-being of children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual needs.
• Conduct child assessments; provide feedback to families.
• Collaborate with co-teacher to prepare classroom materials and spaces.
• Model YMCA values and supervise transitions safely.
