Job summary

First Church of the Nazarene Long Beach is seeking a passionate Teacher Qualified for Infant/Toddler care at our Kidz First Academy. This role involves nurturing infants up to 24 months in a Christ-Centered environment. The ideal candidate will have a valid early childhood education certification and experience in a preschool setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with young children in preschool or infant care.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Enthusiasm and patience for working with infants and toddlers.

Responsibilities

• Diapering, feeding, and managing nap routines for infants.
• Planning age-appropriate activities including songs and art.
• Maintaining accurate records and classroom cleanliness.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of child development principles

Ability to create a positive classroom atmosphere

Experience with infants and toddlers

Education

Valid certification in early childhood education
