Job summary

Resurrection Lutheran Ministries in Brentwood, CA is seeking a qualified Infant/Toddler teacher for our toddler class (18 months–30 months). The role requires infant/toddler experience and a compassionate, Christian-based approach to early education.

You will plan age-appropriate curriculum, support children's development, teach daily bible lessons, and collaborate with a team to create a safe, nurturing environment for children aged 6 months to 2 years. Hours are M-F, 8:30–5:30.

Qualifications

Infant/toddler experience and qualifications.
Experience teaching in an ECE classroom.
CPR and first aid certification.
Fingerprint clearance.
Experience teaching and/or knowledge of the Bible.

Responsibilities

Curriculum planning and providing children with opportunities to explore and discover
Encouraging children to excel academically and physically
Nurturing social and emotional growth
Working as a team with other teachers and staff (This is a team teaching position)
Communicating and working with children’s families
Providing a safe & age appropriate environment
Teaching daily bible lessons
Supervising indoor and outside play
