Aspire Early Learning Academy | Moncks Corner Academy is accepting applications for a full-time Infant/Toddler Teacher at our Moncks Corner location. The primary schedule is 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

We are looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic teacher who has a genuine love for working with children under the age of five. The ideal candidate understands best practices in early childhood education and can build trusting relationships with young children.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Familiarity with safety, sanitation, and supervision guidelines.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills.
• Ability to positively guide children's behavior and resolve conflicts.
• Patient, friendly, dependable and even-tempered.
• Creative and enthusiastic about working with young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Background checks completed (Central Registry, SLED, FBI).
• ECD 101 completion or willingness to complete within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences with storytelling, play, music, and media.
• Observe development, support social skills, independence, and self-esteem.
• Encourage positive interactions and respectful behavior.
• Follow curriculum and lesson plans to create meaningful learning experiences.
• Support early academic, artistic, and practical skills development.
• Maintain an organized schedule and supervise safety at all times.
• Keep a clean, healthy, and safe classroom environment.
• Collaborate with coworkers and administration.
• Follow DSS, DHEC, and Aspire policies and guidelines.
• Work as part of a small teaching team.
• Create a warm, nurturing classroom where children feel valued.
