Responsibilities include delivering engaging activities, observing and guiding social skills, and maintaining a safe classroom aligned with DSS and DHEC guidelines. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and is ready to complete required trainings.

Qualifications

• Understanding of child development and preschool methods.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Excellent communication and instructional skills.
• Ability to mediate between children.
• Reliable, calm, and friendly demeanor.
• Creativity in teaching.
• Cleared Central Registry, SLED, and FBI background checks.
• Completed ECD 101 or agreement to complete within 6 months (paid by company).

Responsibilities

• Provide diverse educational techniques (storytelling, play, media) to teach children under four.
• Observe each child to boost social skills and self-esteem.
• Encourage positive interactions among children.
• Guide curriculum-based development of shapes, numbers, colors, crafts.
• Organize classroom schedule and ensure child safety at all times.
• Collaborate with co-workers.
• Maintain a clean, safe classroom per health standards.
• Follow provided curriculum and company guidelines.
• Adhere to DSS, DHEC, and Aspire policies.
