Job summary

Celebree School is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher to shape early development in a nurturing, enriching environment. You’ll weave Celebree’s values into daily activities and guide aides entering early childhood education with confidence and compassion.

You’ll implement age-appropriate lessons, ensure a safe classroom, and support families while complying with regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Lead teacher requirements per state agency.
• Good character and reputation.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three months of programmatic experience plus credential or endorsement in a child-related field.
• Knowledge of behavioral and developmental stages of children and childcare licensing requirements.
• Ability to manage a classroom with strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills; patience, flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the day's activities with infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they take first steps.
• Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with Office of Child Care regulations and company policies.
• Provide a welcoming, friendly classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans aligned with Celebree’s infant curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting space that nurtures curiosity.
• Accurately complete paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking.

Responsibilities

As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:

• Navigate the day's activities alongside our infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they navigate their first steps.
• Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with all Office of Child Care regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s infant curriculum
• Ensure the classroom is a safe, clean, and inviting space where curiosity can flourish.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
  • Of good character and reputation
  • Capable of carrying out assigned responsibilities
  • Capable of accepting training and supervision
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Have at least three months of programmatic experience in addition to a degree, qualifying credential or endorsement in a child-related field
• This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
