Celebree School of Virginia Beach is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher to shape early development in a nurturing, child-centered environment. You will implement developmentally appropriate activities, support growth, and guide classroom aides through the transition into early childhood education with confidence.

You will help maintain safety, document attendance and progress, and align with state regulations while fostering a positive, engaging classroom for infants and toddlers.

Qualificações

• Must meet lead teacher requirements per state agency.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three months of programmatic experience in addition to a degree, qualifying credential or endorsement in a child-related field.
• Knowledge of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and childcare licensing requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Navigate the day's activities alongside our infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they navigate their first steps.
• Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with all Office of Child Care regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s infant curriculum.
• Ensure the classroom is a safe, clean, and inviting space where curiosity can flourish.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
  • Of good character and reputation
  • Capable of carrying out assigned responsibilities
  • Capable of accepting training and supervision
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Have at least three months of programmatic experience in addition to a degree, qualifying credential or endorsement in a child-related field
• This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
• The ability to manage a classroom, including strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills. patience, flexibility.
