Job summary

ChildCareGroup is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher to support healthy development, safety, and early learning for our youngest children. You will create warm, responsive environments and implement high-quality programming aligned with CCG standards and licensing regulations.

You will collaborate with classroom teams, plan developmentally appropriate activities, and maintain documentation while building strong relationships with families and staff.

Qualifications

  • CDA credential or an Associate’s Degree in child development or related field.
  • One year of experience working with young children.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and desire to work with infants and toddlers.
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills; ability to collaborate with staff, families, and volunteers.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance; able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, organized classroom and support learning centers.
  • Plan activities aligned with RC3, including curriculum prep and child assessments.
  • Build nurturing relationships with children and families; participate in meetings.
  • Collaborate with classroom teams and support daily routines; back up the Lead Teacher.
  • Maintain required documentation and learn CCG’s data systems.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment, including daily setup and support of learning centers.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with RC3, including curriculum preparation and child assessments.
  • Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and families, participating in meetings and conferences.
  • Collaborate with classroom teams, supporting daily routines and stepping in for the Lead Teacher when needed.
  • Maintain required documentation and acquire proficiency in CCG’s designated data systems (training provided).
What You Bring
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Associate’s Degree in child development or a related field.
  • One year of experience working with young children.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and a strong desire to work with infants and toddlers.
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and volunteers.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
